    POWER SUPPLY

Spotykach runs on USB-C. You can even power it from a phone battery as long as it delivers at least 1A. It also features a 15V 1A barrel input for a standard power supply. This can be useful, as USB-C power can sometimes introduce noise.

Spotykach is a community effort and designed to evolve. The firmware is open source and running on the Daisy Seed board, allowing developers and musicians to explore new ideas and extend the instrument.Join our Discord server to learn more, find alternative settings, effects and help develop the instrument further. The project lives on GitHub and discussions happen within the Synthux community on Discord. If you like to build, modify or experiment you’re welcome to contribute.

    ABOUT THE LTD MANUAL

The manual deserves a video of its own, but here’s the short version of why it’s special. We worked closely with Rotterdam-based graphic designer and synth enthusiast Fabio Bartali on every detail—from shaping and editing the text to the drawings and even selecting a local printer for production. The result is a beautifully crafted manual, printed with gold ink and finished with a special artwork on the back.

From the start, we wanted the manual to be more than just a sheet of technical information. So we collaborated with artist Tom Tebby, whom we met at Superbooth 2025. Tom works in traditional collage, cutting and composing paper by hand. Inspired by the Spotykach faceplate, he created a custom artwork that now appears on the back of the official manual.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the manual and feature set along the way. Over the past months this project has grown through collaboration, and what’s emerging is more than a collection of components and code—it’s a complete instrument, and a piece of art you can play.

    What people say

Spotykach is a subtle sorcery - something between a spell book and an alchemist’s board. It takes small fragments of sound, captured moments, and lets them unfold into colourful, atmospheric, enchanted atmospheres that seem to shift as you listen. It draws in both the musician and the listener, not through sheer features, but through the way these fragments begin to breathe and glow - a living sonic sorcery.

    — Eloïn

Sound exploring is about having fun in my books. The Spotykach is fun, and so much more! PS It's very addictive.

    — Shawn "RaZoR" Cymbalisty

Speaking about superior design: Spotykach is a beauty in aesthetics, form and function

    — Krischna Overbeck

The absence of a screen and a very smartly designed interface keeps you focused on making music and not on diving through menus

    — The Picture Division

A truly unique & mind bending instrument with endless possibilities

    — Industrial Funk

I was immediately intrigued by the design of the instrument and its hands-on approach. The amount of features is just right for live performance which is what I also do in the studio.

    — Thanos

Spotykach is a beautiful box of wonders, innovative and inspiring. It never disappoints, creating wonder and chaos every time I plug it in

    — Nigel Turley

Spotykach for me is the go to tool to create textures, loops, rhythms based on live created sounds during a performance, glueing tracks  into one creative experience
